Dutchess Overhead Doors Believes in Safety! - 2007 Kids Expo
The 2007 Kids Expo was the weekend of April 14th & 15th in downtown Poughkeepsie.
We provided a Do's & Dont's of Garage Door Safety booth for children & their parents. It allowed for our staff to get involved with the community and share their garage door safety knowledge. The kids enjoyed learning about how a garage door worked, to be aware of the dangers if used carelessly, and to not play in the garage. Parent's were able to see all of the new updated safety features that garage doors have today. Today, many children are using their garage door's unsupervised when getting off the school bus or getting their toys/bike out of the garage. The importance of using the largest moving object in your home safely can help prevent injuries in the future.
